Ingredients

  • 2 boxes frozen spinach, cooked, drained and cooled
  • 1 bunch green onions, cut into small pieces
  • 1 bunch parsley, washed, drained and snipped in sections
  • 1 head lettuce, washed and drained and broken into bite size pieces
  • 1 c. melted margarine
  • 1 can anchovies (2 oz.)
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 oz. Absinthe or 1 tsp. anise or 4 oz. Pernod
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions

    Preheat oven to 450°.

    Place the first 4 ingredients in a blender or food processor and chop finely.

    Add the rest of the ingredients to the blender.

    Puree until all ingredients are smoothly blended into a sauce.
