  • 1/2 c. rice, cook & set aside
  • 1 Tbsp. of margarine
  • 1 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 can (7 3/4) medium red salmon undrained and flaked
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • pinch each nutmeg, cinnamon & curry

    Grease 9 inch pie pan with 1 tsp. margarine. Melt remaining margarine in frying pan. Saute onion & celery. Beat 1 egg and pepper into rice. Pour rice into pie plate to form a crust.
