- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 3 lemon grass leaves
- 2 red chilies, crushed
- 1 1/2 c. coconut milk from 1 coconut
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1 lb. beef loin, sliced thin
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 bay leaf
Directions

1Saute in oil the garlic, turmeric, ginger and lemon grass. Add meat, chilies and salt. Saute 3 minutes. Add coconut milk and bay leaf. Cover and simmer until sauce is thick. May be served hot or cold. Serves 4 to 6.
