  • 1 cabbage
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Cut cabbage and cook in salted water until desired tenderness; drain and put in a 2-quart casserole dish.

    Stew onion and bell pepper in tomatoes until tender; salt and pepper to taste.

    Pour over cabbage and toss.

    Top with grated cheese.

    Bake in a 325° oven until heated through and cheese is melted, about 15 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
