Ingredients

  • 1 can green beans or peas
  • 1 small can green lima beans
  • 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1 small can Dutch brand onions, quartered
  • 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 2 bouillon cubes (beef)
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger

Directions

    Take 1/2 cup liquid from beans and heat in a large saucepan. Add 2 bouillon cubes, 1/4 teaspoon ginger and butter.

    Stir until dissolved.

    Add water chestnuts, onions and mushrooms.

    Heat until hot and add a mixture of 2 tablespoons soy sauce and 1 tablespoon cornstarch.

    Add beans and heat until hot and serve.
