Ingredients
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. scalded milk
- 1 c. butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 8 c. flour
Directions

1Sprinkle yeast in water; let stand a few minutes, then stir until dissolved.

2Pour hot milk over butter.

3Add sugar and salt. Cool to lukewarm.

4Add yeast, eggs and half the flour.

5Beat well. Add enough more flour to make a dough that will not stick to bowl. Turn out on a floured board and knead lightly.

6Put in greased bowl.

7Cover and let rise until double, about 1 1/2 hours.

8Punch down and turn down on board.

9Shape into balls.

10Let rise until double.

11Brush with butter.

12Bake at 425° approximately 20 minutes.
