- 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. buttermilk or sweet milk
Directions

1Mix all ingredients until there are no lumps.

2Add water until batter is thin.

3Heat griddle or skillet on medium heat.

4Put 1/4 cup of batter on griddle.

5Turn when pancake starts to make bubbles.

6Makes 8 to 12 pancakes.
