  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. milk, sour milk or buttermilk
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

Directions

    Mix all ingredients. Do not beat and leave batter lumpy. Pour individual-size pancakes onto griddle at 350° to 400°. Flip when side becomes saturated with bubbles, then cook until golden brown on bottom. Yield: about 12 to 16 medium cakes.
