- 1/4 cup butter sweet
- 3 cups buttermilk
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 cups flour, all-purpose ( + 1 tb )
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup wheat germ
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon cornmeal
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 x butter for skillet
- 1 x salt pinch
Directions

1Whisk together melted butter, buttermilk and eggs.

2Combine all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

3Make a well in the center.

4Pour in liquid mixture.

5Mix together well, but do not overbeat.

6Allow batter to relax for 15 to 20 minutes.

7Preheat lightly buttered over medium-high flame.

8Ladle 1/2 cup batter on skillet to form each pancake.

9Wait until pancakes bubbles and then flip.

10Keep pancakes warm in 250-deg oven with bowl on top.

11Makes 10 to 12 (large) pancakes.

12Serve warm with any toppings that you like and maple syrup.
