Parmesan Asparagus

- 1 lb. asparagus, washed and trimmed
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- freshly ground pepper
- dash of salt
Directions

1Bring big pot of water to boil.

2Add asparagus and cook about 5 minutes.

3Drain on paper towel.

4Brush ovenproof dish with butter and arrange asparagus in it.

5Pour rest of butter over the top and sprinkle with the lemon juice.

6Turn spears so that they are well coated.

7Sprinkle on Parmesan cheese, grind a little pepper and dash on a little salt.

8Bake asparagus in preheated oven at 400° for 10 minutes.

9Serves 4.
