- 6 (1 lb.) Vidalia or other sweet onions, cut in half crosswise
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- lettuce leaves
Directions

1Cut 12 (12-inch) squares of heavy-duty aluminum foil.

2Place an onion half, cut side up, in center of each. Dot each onion with butter; sprinkle with cheese, salt and pepper.

3Wrap well; place on baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until tender. Serve on lettuce leaves, if desired.
