- 1 French-bread baguette
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 3/4 cup (packed) freshly grated Parmesan (about 2 1/2 ounces)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F.

2Slice baguette on sharp diagonal to make about twenty 6- to 7-inch-long, 1/4-inch-thick slices.

3Melt butter with oil and garlic in small saucepan over medium heat.

4Remove from heat.

5Brush butter mixture over both sides of bread slices.

6Arrange bread in single layer on 2 baking sheets.

7Sprinkle cheese over bread.

8Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

9Bake until bread is crisp, about 13 minutes.
