Ingredients

  • 2 c. crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 small boxes jello (lime, cherry or lemon)
  • 2 small pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 c. celery, diced
  • 2 c. cold water
  • 1 can evaporated milk, well chilled

Directions

    In a heavy pot, boil pineapple and sugar for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add jello and cream cheese, mixing well. Then add walnuts, celery and cold water.

    Next, whip evaporated milk into mixture.

    Place in pan or baking dish at least 10 x 16-inch and refrigerate for 24 hours.
