- 16 egg yolks
- 3 c. sugar
- 8 c. milk, scalded
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 3/4 c. butter
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. raisins
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 5 egg whites
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1Beat egg yolks, vanilla and sugar well.

2Pour in scalded milk and mix until thick.

3When cooled off slightly, add flour, yeast and salt.

4Mix 1/2 hour.

5Add melted butter, beaten egg whites and raisins; mix until bubbles appear and the dough stops clinging.
