- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion peeled and finely chopped
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 2/3 cups tomato sauce
- 2 1/2 ounces mushrooms chopped
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 8 ounces pasta shells
- fresh parsley chopped, to serve
- Parmesan cheese grated, to serve
Directions

1Heat oil in a large saucepan over high heat and saute onion for 2-3 mins, until tender. Add ground beef and brown. Add tomato sauce, mushrooms, wine and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and add pasta. Simmer for 15-20 mins, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Season. Serve with parsley and Parmesan.
