Pasta Con Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. shell macaroni, uncooked
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 2 c. half and half
  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg. (10 oz.) broccoli cuts or 2 c. fresh
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste

Directions

    Cook shells and drain well.

    Cook broccoli and drain.

    Saute mushrooms in butter.

    Mix all ingredients together and simmer over low heat 5 to 7 minutes.

    Mixture will burn easily, so keep heat low.

    May be refrigerated and served later.
