Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 large jar Ragu
  • 1 (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 8 oz. shell macaroni
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1/2 lb. Parmesan
  • 1/2 to 1 lb. Mozzarella

Directions

    Cook beef, onion, garlic until brown.

    Drain grease.

    Put in sauce, undrained mushrooms; mix well.

    Simmer 20 minutes.

    Cook shells; drain.

    Pour 1/2 shells into deep casserole, cover with 1/2 sauce.

    Spread 1/2 sour cream over sauce.

    Top with 1/2 Mozzarella and 1/2 Parmesan.

    Repeat second layer.

    Bake covered at 350° for 35 minutes.
