Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1 c. meatless spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 qt. warm water
- 1 (15 oz.) can cannellini (white beans with liquid)
- 1 1/2 c. tiny shell or bow pasta
- Parmesan, freshly grated
Directions

1In large Dutch oven, brown the bacon, onion, garlic and celery in olive oil.

2Add the sauce, salt and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes.

3Add the warm water, beans and pasta.

4Bring to a boil for 10 minutes; reduce and simmer an additional 15 minutes.

5Stir frequently.

6Serve with lots of cheese.
