- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 eggs
- apricot preserves or jam
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix all ingredients (not preserves) together.

2Press 3/4 of mixture into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.

3Spread about 3/4 of the apricot preserves or jam over dough.

4Roll out remaining dough and cut into strips.

5Place in a crisscross design over top of the preserves.

6Bake at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes.

7Cool and cut into 2-inch squares.
