- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. crisp rice cereal
- 1/2 c. pecans
- coconut
Directions

1Melt in skillet margarine and sugar.

2Add dates; cook and stir two minutes.

3Turn heat off.

4Slowly add egg, milk and salt.

5Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

6Add vanilla, cereal and pecans. Shape into balls and roll in coconut.
