- 2 lb. hamburger meat
- onion
- green pepper
- garlic
- tomato sauce
- 2 c. sifted flour
- touch of salt
- 3 Tbsp. Crisco
- touch of sugar
- touch of baking powder
Directions

1Chop fine and saute onion, green pepper, garlic, tomato sauce and hamburger meat; drain very good (if you fry).

2Mix flour, salt, Crisco, sugar and baking powder with 1/2 cup ice water (spoon and fork); knead it out and cut into little balls.

3Flatten out; put meat mixture in center of dough pieces.

4Fold over dough and press to seal edges.

5Deep fry.
