- 3/4 c. egg whites (5 eggs, at room temperature)
- 1 1/4 c. granulated sugar, processed in blender until very fine
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. white vinegar
- 1 (8 oz.) carton extra creamy whipped topping
- fresh strawberries, kiwi or blueberries
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2In glass bowl, beat egg whites at high speed for 2 minutes.

3Slowly add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time. Sprinkle cornstarch over egg whites; fold in.

4Fold in vanilla and white vinegar.

5Place egg white mixture in center of 12-inch baking plate.

6Make a round shape, like a cake, indented in center.

7Put plate in hot oven; reduce temperature to 250°.

8Bake 1 hour 15 minutes, then turn off the oven and leave meringue inside 3 to 4 hours.

9Should have crisp outer shell and center like marshmallow.

10Add fresh fruit to creamy topping.

11Spoon on top of cooled meringue.
