Ingredients: 1 box yellow cake mix; 1 egg, beaten; 3/4 c. white Karo syrup; 1/2 stick margarine; 2 c. salted peanuts (cocktail peanuts); 1 stick margarine; 2 c. miniature marshmallows; 1 (12 oz.) pkg. peanut butter chips; 2 c. Rice Krispies

1 box yellow cake mix
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 stick margarine
2 c. salted peanuts (cocktail peanuts)
1 stick margarine
2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 (12 oz.) pkg. peanut butter chips
2 c. Rice Krispies

Directions

Mix cake mix with 1 stick melted margarine and beaten egg. Press in the bottom of a buttered 9 x 13-inch cake pan and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

Top with marshmallows and put back in oven until marshmallows are melted.

Melt 1/2 stick margarine and mix with syrup.

Add peanut butter chips and heat until melted.

(I use my microwave for this.)

Stir in nuts and cereal.

Spread on top of marshmallows. Cool. Cut into squares.
