- 1 stick margarine
- 1 1/4 c. self-rising flour
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1 large (13 oz.) can sliced peaches
Directions

1Melt margarine in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish or pan.

2Sift 1 1/4 cups sugar, 1 1/4 cups flour and 1 teaspoon baking powder together in a separate mixing bowl.

3Add 1 1/4 cups milk and stir with spoon until smooth.

4Pour over margarine.

5Spoon sliced peaches on top of flour mixture with 1/2 of peach juice.

6Flour mixture will rise to top to form crust.

7Cinnamon may be added to flour mixture at time of sifting if desired.

8Bake in 350° preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
