Peach Compote

- 3 Peach
- 400 ml Water
- 100 grams Sugar
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
Directions

1Wash peaches well under running water to remove their fuzz.

2Make a cut along the line of the peach.

3Twist to open.

4Scoop out the pit with a spoon.

5Simmer water, sugar lemon juice and peach, cut in half (with skin) in a pan.

6Remove scum and simmer for about 10 minutes, flipping the peach occasionally (until soft enough to poke through with a chopstick easily).

7Cool it down a bit, and peel the skin.

8You can remove the entire skin easily.

9Let rest in the refrigerator.

10Chill and serve with ice cream.

11I made jelly from the syrup of the compote..
