Peach Compote

  • 3 Peach
  • 400 ml Water
  • 100 grams Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Directions

    Wash peaches well under running water to remove their fuzz.

    Make a cut along the line of the peach.

    Twist to open.

    Scoop out the pit with a spoon.

    Simmer water, sugar lemon juice and peach, cut in half (with skin) in a pan.

    Remove scum and simmer for about 10 minutes, flipping the peach occasionally (until soft enough to poke through with a chopstick easily).

    Cool it down a bit, and peel the skin.

    You can remove the entire skin easily.

    Let rest in the refrigerator.

    Chill and serve with ice cream.
