- 1 qt. sliced fresh peaches
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 9-inch pie shell, baked
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- whipped cream
Directions

1Mash 1 cup sliced peaches.

2Add water and cook 5 minutes.

3Mix sugar and cornstarch; add to fruit mixture.

4Cook until thick and clear.

5Add lemon juice, butter and salt.

6Allow mixture to cool completely.

7Arrange remaining fruit in cooled pie shell.

8Pour cooled glaze over fruit.

9Chill thoroughly.
