Peach Pineapple Jam

  • 6 cups peaches chopped
  • 1 orange juice and peel
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple
  • 9 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons pectin Pomona's, if available

Directions

    Mix pectin with 1 cup sugar, stir into peaches, orange and pineapple.

    Heat to boiling.

    Add sugar all at once, bring back to a boil and boil one minute.

    Skim and pour into clean, sterilized canning jars.

    Process in a boiling water bath 10 minutes.

    If pectin is not available, combine fruit and sugar in pan, cook until mixture is thick and comes off spoon in sheets.
