  • 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 c. peeled, chopped fresh peaches, well drained
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. almond extract

    Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. Cream together butter or margarine with sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour, soda and salt in separate bowl. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.

    Fold in peaches; stir in vanilla and almond. Bake for 75 to 80 minutes until done.
