- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 c. finely chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. boiling water
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; beat in milk and oil until smooth.

2Pour into ungreased baking pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inch or 12 x 13-inch pan.

3Arrange peaches on top.

4Mix brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon; sprinkle on top of peaches.

5Bake until pick inserted in center comes out clean, 60 to 70 minutes in 350° oven. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
