Peach Pudding Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. boiling water

Directions

    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; beat in milk and oil until smooth.

    Pour into ungreased baking pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inch or 12 x 13-inch pan.

    Arrange peaches on top.

    Mix brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon; sprinkle on top of peaches.

    Bake until pick inserted in center comes out clean, 60 to 70 minutes in 350° oven. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
