- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 uncooked pie crust
- 2 c. sliced, peeled peaches
Directions

1Cream butter with half the sugar.

2Add beaten eggs gradually and lemon rind.

3Add flour, salt and baking powder alternately with milk.

4Line a pie plate with pastry.

5Put peaches into it with remaining sugar, then spread batter over all and bake at 375° for 20 minutes; then 350° for 20 minutes.

6Canned peaches can be used.
