Peach Vodka

  • 1-1/2 cup Diced Peaches
  • 3 cups Vodka

Directions

    Put all of the peaches into a quart-sized mason jar. Pour the vodka over the fruit, filling to the top. Cover and shake.

    Allow to infuse for 5-7 days, shaking the jar one or two times a day.

    Strain the vodka by covering the jar with a piece of cheesecloth or a jam bag and pouring the vodka into a mixing bowl.

    Squeeze the peaches gently to get more of the vodka out.

    Set the infused peaches aside, and pour the vodka back into the jar. Store in the freezer for 3-4 months.

    If you'd like, you can use the boozy peach pieces in a cocktail or sangria. Otherwise, discard the peaches.
