- 2 lb. fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. walnut extract
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp. cinnamon, ground
Directions

1Combine peaches and sugar in saucepan.

2Let stand about 30 minutes.

3Cook over medium heat 15 minutes.

4Add cornstarch, butter, walnuts, cinnamon and extract; let cool.

5Put into a 9-inch pie shell.

6Cover with top crust brushed with egg yolks.

7Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
