  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • candy kisses

Directions

    Sift together dry ingredients.

    Cream together shortening, peanut butter and eggs until fluffy.

    Combine flour and butter mixtures with milk and vanilla.

    Form dough into balls; roll in sugar.

    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.

    Remove from oven and place candy kiss in each cookie. Return to oven for 2 to 5 minutes.
