- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. raw peanuts
Directions

1Boil sugar, Karo and water until mixture spins a thread when dripped from spoon.

2Add peanuts.

3Cook slowly until syrup turns light tan.

4Remove from heat and stir in soda and butter. (Mixture will foam.)

5Spread on two buttered cookie sheets.

6Pull from edges as it cools for thinner brittle.
