- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Freshly Ground Pepper
- 3/4 Tablespoons Salt
- 3 Tablespoons Oil Plus About 4 Cups Oil For Frying
- Water, As Need To Bind The Dough
Directions

1In a bowl, mix together flour, cumin seeds, black pepper and salt.

2Add 3 tablespoons oil and rub the mixture until it resembles bread crumbs.

3Add water to make a firm but pliable dough.

4Roll into a ball and leave it covered for 30 minutes.

5Roll the dough out into a thin disc (the thinner you roll it, the crunchier the cracker will be).

6Using a small circular cookie cutter or glass, cut small rounds (about 1 1/2 inches).

7You can the re-roll the scraps and repeat.

8Using a knife or fork, make 3-4 pricks all over each circle.

9Deep fry in medium hot oil, turning every now and then until golden.

10Drain on a paper towel.

11Store in an airtight container when cool.
