- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. white syrup
- 1 c. water
- 2 c. peanuts (raw)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Cook sugar, syrup and water to the soft ball stage at 238°. Add peanuts and salt.

2Cook to hard crack, 290°.

3Remove from heat and add butter and soda.

4Stir well.
-
5Pour into greased platter. Cool by lifting around edge.

6When cool, but still slightly warm, turn over.
-
7Break into pieces.
