- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. raw peanuts
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Combine sugar and syrup with 1/2 cup water in 3-quart saucepan.

2Bring mixture to boil, then add butter.

3Stir frequently until mixture reaches 230° on a candy thermometer.

4Add raw peanuts and continue stirring until temperature reaches 305°. Remove from heat and quickly stir in baking soda.
