- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
- 1 c. salted Spanish peanuts
- 1 tsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1In glass 2-quart bowl, combine sugar and corn syrup. Microwave on High for 4 minutes.

2Stir in peanuts and microwave on High 4 minutes.

3Stir in margarine and vanilla; microwave on High for 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

4Stir in baking soda gently until light and foamy.

5Pour at once on buttered cookie sheet.

6Bake 1/2 to 1 hour; break into pieces.
