  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. raw shelled peanuts

Directions

    Bring to a rolling boil the sugar, syrup and water.

    Slowly add peanuts, keeping a rolling boil until peanuts pop and brown (hard crack stage, 290°).

    Remove from heat.

    Add soda and salt. Pour onto a foil lined cookie sheet.
