- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 c. roasted, salted peanuts
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1In 1 1/2-quart casserole, stir sugar and syrup together.

2Heat 5 to 6 minutes in a small microwave.

3Stir in peanuts.

4Heat for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring after 2 or 2 1/2 minutes.

5Add butter and vanilla to syrup, blending well.

6Heat for 2 or 3 minutes. Peanuts will be slightly browned and syrup very hot.

7Add soda and stir gently until light and foamy.

8Pour mixture onto lightly buttered cookie sheet.

9Cool for 1 hour.

10When cool, break into small pieces and store in airtight container.

11Ziploc bag is the best to store the candy in.
