- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. white syrup
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. raw peanuts
- 3 rounded tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup, water and salt in a thick bottom 4-quart pan.

2Cook on high heat, adding peanuts when temperature reaches 240°.

3When temperature reaches 300°, remove from fire.

4Stir in baking soda and pour immediately on greased aluminum foil.

5Smooth over and rake down only once.

6Break into pieces when hard.
