- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. raw peanuts
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 4 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Use 4-quart pan to cook in as will boil up.

2Mix and heat first 4 ingredients until sugar dissolves.

3When it comes to a boil, add peanuts.

4Cook until it comes to hard crack stage (300° on candy thermometer).

5Take off heat.

6Add vanilla, margarine and baking soda.

7Will fizz so be sure to use large pan.

8Stir quickly.
-
9Pour immediately into cookie sheets lined with greased Reynolds aluminum wrap (heavy-duty).

10Spread as thin as you can. Cool.
