- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 c. roasted, salted peanuts
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1In 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, mix sugar and corn syrup well and microwave at High for 3 minutes, then add roasted salted peanuts.

2Microwave again for 3 or 4 minutes, until light brown. Add butter and vanilla; mix well and microwave for 1 to 2 minutes. Peanuts will be lightly browned and syrup very hot.

3Add baking soda and gently stir until light and foamy.

4Pour mixture onto lightly greased cookie sheet.

5Let cool 1/2 to 1 hour.

6When done, break into small pieces and store in a tight container.
