- 1/2 tsp. corn oil margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. dry roasted peanuts
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Line a large electric skillet with foil.

2Combine sugar, water, syrup and margarine on skillet.

3Set temperature at 375°.

4Cook, stirring occasionally, until syrup turns golden brown.

5Stir in peanuts.

6Continue stirring until mixture turns medium brown.

7Add soda.

8Stir vigorously.

9Remove foil containing candy from skillet and let cool.

10Remove sheet of candy from foil and break into pieces.

11Yields 1 pound.
