  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light Karo corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. raw peanuts
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Combine sugar, corn syrup and water; cook to 220°.

    Add peanuts and butter and cook to 298°, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat.

    Add vanilla and baking soda, stirring thoroughly. Pour onto large, buttered cookie sheet.

    Let cool.

    Break into pieces.
