  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. white corn syrup
  • 2 c. peanuts (raw)
  • salt

Directions

    Cook sugar, water and syrup to 170°.

    Add peanuts and continue to cook to 300°, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat and add soda.

    Beat to a foam.

    Pour into a well buttered cookie sheet; spread and sprinkle with salt.

    When cool, break into small pieces.

    Do not forget the salt.
