- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1/4 c. boiling water
- 2 c. raw peanuts (do not remove red hulls)
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Put sugar, corn syrup and water in heavy pot and let come to a boil.

2(Use medium heat throughout.)

3Add peanuts when mixture starts to boil.

4Cook until peanuts start popping and smell parched and sugar is medium brown in color, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat immediately and add baking soda.

5Stir quickly. Do not beat.

6Pour on a large buttered cookie sheet.

7Let cool and break in small pieces.
