- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. boiling water
- 2 c. raw shelled peanuts
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/4 Tbsp. soda
Directions

1Put sugar, syrup and boiling water in saucepan and cook until it spins a slight thread.

2Fold in 2 cups of peanuts and cook until peanuts are done.

3This takes about 15 or 20 minutes.

4The only way you can tell if peanuts are done is by tasting them.

5Stir to keep from sticking.

6When peanuts are done, take up and add soda, mixing well.

7Pour onto buttered baking sheet, not aluminum. Cool and break up into small pieces.
