- 2 c. raw peanuts
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. white syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Stir peanuts, sugar, syrup and water together in a heavy skillet.

2Start cooking; start stirring continuously when peanuts begin to pop.

3Cook approximately 18 minutes on high heat.

4Remove from heat and stir in soda, butter and vanilla.

5Pour immediately onto buttered cookie sheet and spread thin.

6Break into pieces when hard.
