- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 2 c. peanuts
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Heat and stir sugar, water and syrup in saucepan.

2Cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (235°).
-
3Add nuts and salt.
-
4Cook to hard crack stage (305°), stirring often.
-
5Remove from heat; quickly stir in butter and soda.

6Pour immediately into 2 well buttered 9-inch pans.
-
7Spread with spatula.
-
8Break into pieces when cool.
-
9Makes 1 1/2 pounds.
